Taxi Driver Overview

Accountabilities
Assignments
- Vehicle cleaning and minor repairs
- Take people to their locations after picking them up.
- Help guests get into cars and with their bags.
- Get the fare
- Help visitors or clients who have unique requirements
- Keep track of transactions
- Describe the essential traveler information.
- Respond to grievances or challenging passengers
- Transport employers—including their families—to and from the location
Qualifications
Memberships, licenses, certificates, and courses
- Permit for operating a taxicab in the municipality
- Class 4 or E provincial or territorial commercial vehicle license
