Travel Assistant: WSIB’s Corporate Services Division is a major partner in the organization’s strategic change initiatives, focusing on modernization. Our Business Services Department is partnering with the Service Delivery Team by providing administrative support. To help us achieve our vision and mandate, we are looking for a good communicator and team player to provide wide front line customer service to the workers traveling on the business related to the claim; Provide support and guidance to the internal WSIB staff and business partners on common travel procedures. You are also responsible for processing and mailing the vendor / agent invoices and billing details.
Customer Services Travel Assistant Salary Grade: From 206: $ 50,183.64
Bilingual Customer Service Travel will report to the Assistant Manager and will need to be skilled in responding to client inquiries through telephone queues and email systems.
Key Responsibility and Liability for Travel assistant
Our customer service travel assistants have provided a wide line-line customer service to the workers traveling on the business related to the claim; Provide support and guidance to the internal WSIB staff and business partners on common travel procedures.
Maintain the security of data and travel / taxi warrants
Process and resolve details of seller / agent and American Express bank
Responding to telephone inquiries from workers, representatives, escorts, treatment agencies and WSIB employees related to general travel procedures and booking status; See complex and / or booking problems for transportation and reservation specialists.
Follow various administrative and clerical support duties related to transport and housing
Business Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a high school graduate and have an additional special course or equivalent skill level in the field of certificate program for one year or customer service and office administration. TICO designation is beneficial but not required.
As a prerequisite for employment, WSIB will need to check a criminal record name after paying rent to the prospective candidate or at any time.
